PHOTOGRAPHY

The regular use of a camera for the purpose of recording all aspects of my ceramics led to an active involvement in photography.  Work was undertaken for Tetanal Photographic, Birds Eye U.K., The Broads Authority, Rural Arts East, University of East Anglia and a variety of other commercial and educational establishments. 

1980s

1987 Taught residential photography course for Norfolk County Council at How Hill, Ludham
1989 Visiting lecturer at NORCAT for BTEC National Diploma – photography
1989 FINDINGS An Exhibition of photographs and related text at Wells Arts Centre looking at many aspects
of the Norfolk coastline.  Sponsored by Eastern Arts and Norwich Camera Centre it was subsequently
shown at the University of East Anglia

1990s

1990 Eastern Arts Artist in Residence Gt. Yarmouth
1990 Visiting lecturer University of East Anglia. Creative Photography for B.Ed Degree course.
1991 Established Photography Department at Gt. Yarmouth College and taught BTEC courses there for a
number of years.
1991 Project photographer for community arts programme Close to Home sponsored by Eastern Arts
1992 Exhibition of work generated by Close to Home shown at Buffalo University, New York State, USA.
1993 Project photographer in Eastern Arts sponsored photographic project at Trunch, Norfolk.

Resulting from winning a Kodak competition, work was shown at The National Museum of Photography and Hamiltons Gallery, London.

Photographic work also shown in Norwich Castle Museum, Fermoy Gallery, Kings Lynn, Norwich Arts Centre, Wells Arts Centre, Norwich Cathedral and Norwich 20 Group exhibition, Bath.
